Premail is a desktop app. It runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Send yourself the link and open it on your computer.
We use this address only to send you the download link. It is not added to a mailing list and is not used for marketing. No Premail account is required. The email comes from @mail.premail.pro, so add it to your allowed senders to make sure it reaches you.

- Windows 10 (64-bit, version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, on Intel or AMD. The installer adds the Edge WebView2 runtime if it is missing.
- Linux
- 64-bit x86_64, Ubuntu 22.04 / Debian 12 / Fedora 36 or later, with WebKitGTK 4.1 and a system tray.
- Also needed
- A Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud account, and an AI provider: an Anthropic or OpenAI key, local Ollama, or Apple Intelligence on macOS 26+ with Apple Silicon.
The current downloads range from about 6 MB to 95 MB depending on your platform and package. Premail runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux alongside the email client you already use.
On first launch, choose an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, local Ollama, or Apple Intelligence on a compatible Mac running macOS 26 or later) and connect Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud. No Premail account is required, and Premail never uploads mail to a Premail server. If you choose a cloud AI provider, classification requests go directly from your computer to that provider; with Ollama or Apple Intelligence, classification stays on your machine. Connecting a mail account always talks to that provider over the network, regardless of which AI model you pick.
